Antonio Vivaldi

"There are no words, it's only music there."

Antonio Vivaldi (1678 – 1741) was an Italian composer, musician, teacher, and priest of the Baroque era. He was called the Red Priest because of his red hair. He taught music at an orphanage for girls but was jealously kicked out by the other teachers. Vivaldi went on to became a famous composer and the school, realizing their mistake, hired him back. Vivaldi returned and wrote one of his most famous pieces, The Four Seasons (1720 - 1723). Vivaldi was inspired by his friend, Marco Ricci’s paintings of the four seasons.
