Composer Study - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

"Neither a lofty degree of intelligence nor imagination nor both together go to the making of genius. Love, love, love, that is the soul of genius."

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 - 1791) was an Austrian composer of the Classical Era. He was a popular composer during his lifetime and his genius is still recognized worldwide today with over 600 pieces of music composed, including “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik” (1787). In fact, if you played Mozart's music back to back, it would take 202 hours total. In 2024, a new Mozart piece was discovered, “Ganz Kleine Nachtmusik” (1769) in a library in Germany and was thought to be written when Mozart was 10.
