Piano Bingo Lesson Card

Piano Bingo Lesson Card
Play piano “bingo” with your students - each week we start the lesson off with two fun activities. Students get stickers for completing the activities, when they get 5 stickers in a row, they get a bingo prize from the prize box. I just go from left to right and move down the rows (so it’s called bingo because of the shape of the board, not because I’m calling out cards like in bingo)
The bingo card icons show the skill we’ll be working on. . The skills we work on are sight reading, playing by ear, note recognition, scales, intervals, steady beat, and rhythm.
There is freedom in selecting activities for each student- using a sighteading book, figuring out twinkle twinkle by ear (melody, melody with Tonic and dominant harmony, chords), flash cards, theory books, beat motion songs, scale challenges, etc. These cards give the teacherstructure and flexibility.
It takes about 10 minutes or less at the beginning of my lesson to warm up but can also be saved for as a reward for the end of the lesson.
